Biggest Loser Challenge
Effective the first of January, 2010, the Community Biggest Loser Challenge is underway and will continue for three months ending in April.  There are well over 300 challengers this year in our biggest and best Challenge ever!  We wish all Challengers "good luck" and remind everyone that healthy nutritional changes and a consistent exercise program is the best way to lose weight and keep it off.  The Challenge is sponsored each year by OHOC (Our Health-Our Community) which is supported by Grangeville Physical Therapy, Groaners Gym, Syringa Hospital and Clinics and the University of Idaho Extension Office.  OHOC brings lectures and programs that promote health and fitness in our community.  Watch for upcoming events in our local news.

Fit
and Fall Proof Classes
Fit and Fall Proof Classes are currently in session and are held at the Camas Fitness Club (Groaners Gym) located at 507 West Main. They are held every Monday and Friday. This is a State Department of Public Health program and we now have five fully trained instructors to fulfill the needs of this very important program. Seniors are invited to attend. Classes will be limited. If there is enough interest, classes will be added in the future. This successful program is responsible for hundreds of folks regaining strength, flexibility and balance in order to enjoy many years of improved physical and mental health.

Please Contact Us to get more information about any of these upcoming events or if you wish to add an item to our schedule.
